TCR - Young Adult Services

Young Adult Services is a specialized program offered by TCR's New Vitae Mental Health Center in conjunction with Mount Trexler Manor.18 to 25 year olds are provided residence, mentoring, clinical services, activities, therapeutic recreation, vocational opportunities, and educational tutoring. The goal of the Young Adult Services program is to offer creative treatment using a one-on-one approach.

The Young Adult Services program offers strong values delivered within a structured environment which encourages client responsibility for self-care. Each resident is held accountable for their contribution and upkeep of the young adult unit. Additionally, the program promotes and assists in building self-esteem and in acquiring independent living skills.

Young Adult Service clients can qualify through the Apartment Readiness Training Program for living in the TryCo Apartments. Should the client reside at TryCo Apartments, he or she will continue to receive Young Adult Services support.
