Mount Trexler Manor

Mount Trexler Manor is a personal care facility located on thirty wooded acres in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. This rural setting provides a quiet atmosphere for adult mental health consumers. A fifty-tree fruit orchard, nestled on the grounds of Mount Trexler Manor is a remarkable place to work, walk, and contemplate.

Mount Trexler Manor offers a myriad of supportive and recreational activities and programs for more acutely ill consumers. The staff at Mount Trexler Manor is able to evaluate and provide support to a wider array of behaviors. The professionals at TCR offer one-to-one goal directed companionship for our consumers. Social Workers serve as Case Managers and act as a liaison to family members. Registered Nurses attend to medication as well as the physical health needs of residents. Other Direct Care and Administrative staff provide a variety of mental health and supportive services.

Our Certified Recreational Therapist plans and provides many activities for the residents. Some of the on-site activities include: Dancercise, Arts & Crafts, Cooking Group, and Open Recreation. Off-site activities, depending on the weather, may include: local mall and restaurant trips, swimming, snow tubing, and local movie theaters.

Mount Trexler Manor offers shared and private occupancy rooms. Well-balanced, nutritious meals are provided to consumers three times each day. Residents may choose from several entree and side dish options. Special dietary needs such as vegetarian or diabetic requirements are taken into consideration.

A library, consumer lounges, outdoor recreational facilities, and consumer-run store are central to the community life. Picnics and family days are regularly scheduled by the social work staff. In-house vocational opportunities are available.
