Mount Trexler Manor is a Personal Care Home located on thirty wooded acres in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. This rural setting provides a quiet atmosphere for adults with challenging behavioral health care needs. A fifty-tree fruit orchard, nestled on the grounds of Mount Trexler Manor is a remarkable place to work, walk, and contemplate.

Mount Trexler Manor offers an abundance of supportive services and recreational activities for residents’ choice. The staff is able to evaluate and provide support to a wide array of behaviors. One-to-one goal directed companionship, mentoring services, is available to assist with social interaction, use of community resources, skill development and recovery goals. Care Coordinators provide a broad range of services to support the wellness of each resident and act as a liaison to family members. Nursing staff attend to medication as well as the physical health needs of residents. Other direct care and administrative staff provide a variety of caring, supportive and enriching services. Staff members are available on-site 24/7.

Our Activity staff plan and provide many individual and small group activities for residents’ recreation and enjoyment. Some on-site activities include: Dancercise, Arts & Crafts, Cooking Group, and Open Recreation. Off-site activities include: local mall, movie theater and restaurant trips, nature walks, bowling, swimming, snow tubing and visits to the library. Opportunities are available to attend self-help support groups and to provide volunteer services in the community.

Mount Trexler Manor offers shared and private occupancy rooms. Well-balanced, nutritious meals are provided to residents three times each day, supplemented by healthy snacks. Residents may choose from several entrée and side dish options. Special dietary needs such as vegetarian or diabetic requirements are taken into consideration.

A resident library, television lounges, indoor fitness area, outdoor recreational facilities, and resident run store are central to community life. Picnics, family days and seasonal parties are regularly scheduled. In-house supported vocational opportunities are available.
